Thankfully, I've only had to use one of them, once, when my dog and I were under attack by a menacing, off-leash dog, that wanted to fight. The night of the confrontation, I was walking a 130 lb. Akita (on leash), so I can guarantee, that if that dog had attacked my dog, he would not have been looking fine.
